[ My son ? in Future ? lol ? Why are you asking like this CDTV ? :P :P Rejected question ;) ]

Javed is an impeccable music director well known for his scoring in short films. Now that he has stepped in feature film, his endeavours will be widely recognized.  We wish him whole heartily !

» How come the breakthrough into feature film (Kadalaasu Puli)  happened ?
It all started with an unexpected call from the director of the malayalam movie -  'Kadalaasu Puli' who wanted to feature my music in his film after having heard of my music and scores through my previous short films .

» Your inspiration ..
From a very young age A.R.Rahman has always been an inspiration to me as well as my music ! M.S.Viswanathan, Ilayaraja and many more awesome composers are my other sources of inspiration.

» What was your profession before enrolling in feature film..
I was a freelance Music Composer and I still am

" Demand is not the right word  , but I do ..

» Are you a viscomate .. Your college days with reference to your music composition..
No, I am not . I did B.E Computer Science in Crescent engineering College, Chennai and I was in a band called 'Paradigm Shift' which gave me a platform to experiment with music.

» Were your parents supportive for your interest in music ?
Yes for sure. My father especially has been very supportive of my music. And without my brother it would not have been possible. My heartfelt thanks to my bro and my parents. I will always be in their debt .

» Is that you demand quite large amount for your scoring .. !?

"Demand" is not the right word  , but I do "quote" a reasonable and negotiable amount of money for all my projects .

» How much in average do you get paid for your music score in short films . . . .
It's not a fixed rate . It depends upon the script of the film , the sounding it demands for the music score . And also the duration .

» And is that you refused to do scoring for some shorts ..
It would've probably been due to time constraint.

' » Why haven't you stepped into tamil film industry ?
It's not that I have not stepped into the Tamil film industry. I am just waiting for the right movie which has the potential to showcase my music .

Yes, I have done 3 short films for Enoc and 1 is underway . Those experiences were always magical. There was always a perfect click between the music and the lyrics which my Lyricist Antony Faze will also agree with when working for Enoc's films.

Ashanti OMkar, Media persona
This year started off on the right foot when I was unexpectedly tagged in a facebook post by Mrs.Ashanti OMkar from BBC ,London.

" Brilliant Tamil songs from new composer Javed Riaz of Chennai, South India. Beautiful melodies and reminiscent of a certain top music director's beginnings - here's to your bright future in music, Javed! :-) "

"Our 1st Short Film was made on a shoe string budget, second short film cost  more than a lakh actually. ."

Sathish Chandrasekaran is the director of Sathish Chandrasekaran BE, MBA (Bar) short film which instigated many to grasp his take eventually winning "multi" awards as a token of appreciation for the team effort.
I am an Engineering graduate, not a VISCOMate. I enquired various institutes
regarding film making but I gambled on it and invested the amount that would have cost me for learning film making into making short films.
» Whom do you love to credit for the sucess of your second short film ?

My Parents deserve most of the credit :)

The opening lines of the Short Film "Sathish Chandrasekaran B.E, MBA (Bar)" goes like this,

" My parents were not graduates, but they gave me the best possible education, got me everything I asked for, Inspite of going through loads of problems they provided me everything life could offer materially. "

These lines are a testament to the freedom and the liberty MY PARENTS had given me.
Picture
» Are the artists professionally trained in acting ?
No, all the cast in this short film were my FRIENDS & FAMILY.

» In a scale of ten, how do you rate your short film ?
I can never rate my work, all I can say is that we have executed what we planned.

".. no one was willing to bank upon me."
» Do you think that it is fair to direct a feature film with experience in short

Picture
film making alone ?
If we are able to bring out good content through Short Films then we can definitely be better in making a Feature Film.

Feature films have their own share of difficulties, Short films are a great platform to understand these difficulties & to unleash our creativity.

By making Short Films we make a lot of mistakes, these mistakes teach us more and shape us better.

Picture
» Do you feel that shadows are visible owing to lightning. ..
Yeah, thanks for pointing it out, We have made certain mistakes here and there, We will rectify them on our coming projects for sure.

» Who is your inspiration for short film making ..

Picture
Receiving award from Balaji Mohan
Director Balaji Mohan & his team are my inspiration.
"After watching the Short Film,"Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu yeppadi", I decided to rope in their team but since I was a newcomer, no one was willing to bank upon me."

Picture
Arjunan's dad and mom starring in Sathish's short film
But Arjunan Nandakumar (Siddarth's Friend in KSY) turned out  to be my friend's cousin, He ended up dubbing for the lead character (Sathish) and his parents enacted the role of  Sathish's Mom & Dad in the Short Film,
I was also unaware that the music composer Javed had composed for Director Balaji Mohan's previous Short Films :)

» Do you think that short films with an interactive element like in your's - "the hero speaks to the audience" are received naturally well ?
It depends upon the way it is presented, a well-written & executed script is always received well.

»  What will be your future goals ..
We are working on a music video, a musical short film as of now, Future goals are in making a Feature Film.

» Do you feel that short films are barred from film fest/contests/broadcasting due to it's length (more than 10. min) like your short film..
Our Short film faced these problems in few festivals but we have no control over it.

What's the need in spending 1 lakh ?
Picture
Before effect and After effect
As I had already mentioned, its a gamble I took into investing in Short Films. Our first Short Film was made on a shoe string budget, after gaining confidence we hired professionals for this short Film which cost us. We spent  more then a lakh actually.

» We would like to know your current profession . .

I am currently trying to foray into mainstream cinema
» Where your parents supportive for your interest in short film making..

No, they were not supportive initially.

»  Is there any time target for your goal to direct a feature film..

By this year end.
» What is the duration of the entire production ?

4 days for the shoot, 3 months for the post production.
Contacts are very crucial in getting the
right set of people. "
»  Was that tough to get a college for this short, guess the place where those
Picture
teens play and hero's college is same. Good one is the violet colorization of the tree in DI...

Getting permissions from colleges are always tough. I had approached almost 15 schools & colleges for permissions, that itself took almost two months. Our colorist gave us the suggestion for violet colorization of trees and it worked really well :)

» Why many of the scenes were deleted in this short ..

The story flowed well in this trimmed format. At certain places a few scenes conveyed what we had expected so the extra scenes had to go.
» One good short film per year or 10 better short films per year ..

It all depends upon the content. If I get the opportunity to direct 10 good short films per year, I would gladly do it :)

» Sathish admits that till the MBA part, it was autobiographical :) He added,
" Nothing is easy to shoot, adapting one's real life is quite challenging because introspection is always difficult. "
Picture
» Your suggestion or advice to budding short film makers ..

Make it Short, Don't drag your content.

» Special mention..

MY FRIENDS & RELATIONS for their continued love & support, All these AWARDS & RECOGNITION wouldn't have been possible without them.

» Your view about CDTV ..
Media like yours are a great tool for budding talents to showcase their work. I am glad to be a part of CDTV.

:: A still from his review video
"Everything is about politics and shoe licking,.. "                             Cdtv rights reserved (r)                      ~  Prashanth is an unbiased blunt tamil film reviewer who won't prevaricate. He "perspires" for making his reviews in a well grid unique standard. Popular film celebs have recognized his endeavours.

Picture
I did my schooling in Tiruppur, Tamilnadu. Studied chemical engineering at Sathyabama University. "

What will you credit for your successful run at Youtube. .  Is your review commercialized..

The reason for me to do the reviews was I was tired of the biased reviews being broadcasted on channels, reviewers fool people by appreciating a movie that is not worth it at all, my goal is to help people  with genuine reviews so that they are not wasting their money on a waste movie.

Picture
It all started withAayirathil oruvan , I actually started with Eeramreview, but it was a poorly done one and I removed it in a week, I was not serious about reviewing then.  I credit my viewers for my successful run, they are everything to me, whatever I’m doing, I’m doing it for them! And honestly, this is not a commercial review, whatever little revenue I get through the ads, I spend it to buy tickets , watch movies and buy more equipment to enhance my reviews. However, you can call it commercial as I’m generating revenue out of my reviews.

"I think I have every right to rebut to comments that are nasty .. "
In some videos, you have leived a remark or note about "bad" comments.. How do they mean you.. and what can probably the reason for those comments..

I’m a highly sensible human being and I think I have every right to rebut to comments that are nasty, I cannot keep my mouth shut when someone tries to provoke me for no reason. I also think that it is very important for me to thank the viewers who thank or praise me through the comments,  I always owe my viewers!

Some time back in the mid of February, you said Selvaragavan to remind about you and you added that he is the one who encouraged you to do these reviews. Hope we are right. How come this recognition happened.. and kindly
Picture
note us of any other film celebs who have recognized your works.. We guess G.V Prakash too encouraged you.

Yes, you are right. Selvaraghavan, GV Prakash, Udhayanithi stalin , Prasanna, Pooja balu  and Jithan Ramesh are people who encourage me now and then. Selva anna (Selvaraghavan) is very special to me because he was the first celebrity to recognize me , I remember saying that I shot aayirathil oruvan review with a webcam and did not even have proper equipment to shoot, he said just do it with what u have and it will be fine.  These people are like family to me.

"People are not willing to put their effort , but still want to be famous. "
What is the sole need to upload these videos with varied subjects. There are
Picture
ads been displayed for every video. Do you think they hinder the viewers?

Viewers have no problems with the ads being run, and
you cannot do things for free forever!I need some money to buy the tickets etc, the viewers have never complained about the ads, so I don’t really worry! I really do not plan about the subject of my video, everything is spontaneous except for the reviews as it is planned. Even if I plan, I see no wrong with it, as it will only help the viewers.

Some of your videos reflect a "transparent" point out on big shots, were there any claims ? Is that you removed or re-uploaded a video again with corrections in speech or something that you gave clarification about your earlier views..

Nope, never, your source has minimal knowledge about me. My Angadi Theru review was blocked by ayngaran* for no reason,
Picture
I phoned them and clarified that I have the right to review any movie, so they said I can re-upload and won't block. I then raised the issue with youtube and got that blockade completely removed.  I will never ever remove a video for anyone, whoever the big shot may be.  I have not clarified about my position in any video, I love every actor but hate the actions of some of them some times.  I have made an interview by director Senthamizhan private because he was talking about an issue in the video, and since the issue was solved, I thought the video will be hindrance to the film and hence I made that interview private.

Some of your videos partially mark the pitfalls for a talent to come in flying color. Some bear a sarcastic note with sometimes posing a derogatory remark and unveils a passive speech as a crusader for led down talents.. Your notion that the present world is failing to recognize true talents. How far do you admit these views,.. Your view, please..
Picture
Tamil cinema Industry is the perfect example of a world that barely recognizes true talent. Everything is about politics and shoe licking, You cannot be open, You MUST call your actors and directors with a "sir" preceding their name, You have to praise them for "nothing things". This has now become a custom of almost every field including IT- especially in India. True talents are barred most of the time by highly selfish people, that is why it is important for true talents to use youtube as a platform and show the world who they are. I took no ones help when I started and I’m happy with where I’m now, I cannot say that I’m a talent , but I can definitely say that I have done something that will otherwise be impossible for me to do through vintage methods. I stand for some values, I’m always a crusader at heart and have deeper understanding about life than many. For me, people are more important than money.

Your unbiased and blunt narration has catered likes for your endeavours.. We are happy for it. Kindly express your view about short films, short film

makers,..

I can see many with a high Definition video camera shooting some nonsense and calling it a short film. I remember reading a tamil script written in English and the dialogues were robotic. People are not willing to put their effort , but still want to be famous. My reviews may look simple, but it takes atleast 8 hours for me to make a review and I do lot of takes to get the perfect review, I honestly in my heart know that I’m working hard on my reviews and this is the only reason why my viewers like it. Short film makers should follow the same, put the best effort you can, take your time to write the script and update it if necessary, be humble , respect people's opinion, this is how you grow as a short film maker. I have seen some fantastic short films and I totally believe that short films can influence a person in many different ways, so it is very important for our society to come with high quality short films and not some 10 minute crap!

Special mention..

Sruthi muthukrishnan – my friend who I love a lot. Ambreen Tariq – A friend from Pakistan who inspires me in many different ways! Maharajan Kanagaraj – A college friend who knows me to the core,  My lovely clients from the west,  Selavaraghavan anna  and Udhayanithi stalin anna .
CDTV is a great initiative, glad to know that you are helping budding short film makers.

2. Is your production activity commercialized ? And is that your profession ..

3. You have been a part of popular Tamil short films.. How did the transition appear and how you were been driven into this stream..

Yes I have worked as a co producer for the Tamil short film DIYA which is directed by 19 year old JAMEER BASHA which has been screened in AVM studios ; MANKATHA FAME  director VENKAT PRABHU , KALAIMAMANI SATHYA PRIYA madam were the chief celebrities who saw the premiere shows and appreciated us for the product which is gave by us.
Now I am producing and acting in a Tamil short film THOOVAL which is directed by an engineering college student SHERRY BOSCO from my native Coimbatore  ….
This is all because of my director O4p GANESH KUMAR MOHAN and my college senior my friend NANBAN VENKAT SUNDAR. Both of them have supported me a lot at every moment.

First I met them only in a social media FACEBOOK , I approached GANESH KUMAR MOHAN for acting in his short films… once I joined in his GREENHORNS FILM banner I loved Ganesh anna’s working style and that inspires me & boosted me up to here as days gone I became a PRODUCTION MANAGER in GREENHORNS FILMS which is owned by GANESH KUMAR Anna, where I learned a lot by the team members of 'ghf' cinematographer KB PRABHU and artist VENKAT SUNDAR …this is how I was driven into this stream. GANESH KUMAR MOHAN  "thalaiva " you are great .......

Female gender is basically the most attractive one in our human species. "

Shruti Iyer has been the eclat of few short films and is the epitome of a short film artist.  She pursued Visual communication at  Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women. She directed a short film titled “Irandaam Athiyaiyam” during her final year.  She is currently the Technical In-charge for Vinayaka Missions University (Chennai HO) for their Distance Education E-learning Project .

# The involvement in acting - How it happened..

We are all actors acting every second of our lives .. thats the way it happened.

# What do you think to be the reason for hesitation or refusing of girls to act in short film ?

Basic thing for hesitation is parental restriction , security and privacy .

" I found myself a wonderful set of people... "

# Were there any difficulty faced by you while short film making ?

The Pre production work is the most crucial stage of making a short film. If you plan wisely you can finish the filming of your short film before the scheduled deadline. Yes, we need to get permissions to shoot in certain key areas which are restricted . You need to make sure that the artists whom you are working with are comfortable and are taken utmost care.

# What can be the reason for your charismatic screen presence and good

Charismatic is big word .. I should thank my mother for such talent as acting.

# Were your parents supportive for your involvement in short film making..
Yes they very much were. Parents play a key role in a child’s development in any field .

# What's your view to the say that female cast are included for attraction/promotion in short films..
The female gender is basically the most attractive one in our human species. The usage of Female lead or any female cast in any short film depends on the type of story the film is conveying to its audience.

# Kindly share with us, any of the interesting happening in your life vesting with short films..

I found myself a wonderful set of people whom I have had the pleasure of working with. Ramanan purushothaman , charan , sridharan , Raagav , . They have all become such good friends . a talented set whom I admire.

# What do you think as achievement in your short film career as of now..

Long way to go. This is just the beginning .I haven’t achieved anything as of yet .

# Can we expect your presence in any feature film..

If the road leads me there to a good worthy role , you might see me some day ..
# Is it that you prefer to act in short films directed by friends alone.. we mean
Picture
in known circle alone rather than outsiders'.  . .

Yes, there are a lot of people making short films. Some might misuse the artist and their talent which might create a bad reputation for the actor herself. That is why I always stick to known circle .

# Is it that you ignored acting offers for some shorts.. Are there any criteria for it ..

Depends on the type of script people bring in . like I mentioned earlier , these days every second person has a digital camera and want to make a short film.
There might be a chance of misusing the artist. Hence I choose short film scripts which are created by people who are known to me or atleast if the director has a good reputation and a script whichs has a good concept to it .

" Hmm.. I believe my films describe me in detail. Then why try to do the same... "

Deepan is an eminent short film maker. A promising talent .. Keep reading this interview of him..

Who was your inspiration...
I have a very vivid imagination and I love to tell stories – the combination led me into the realm of cinema.

Deepan's project "Oru Naal" is starred by Actress Neelima who is slated to be a 'good' short film artist, a tag grabbed by her poignant act in "Oru naal" (Directed by Deepan) , a short film based on 26/11 incident at Mumbai.
[In photo] : Deepan and Neelima during the shoot of Oru naal.

Comment this short
" ha ha ha .. this made me laugh.. well I am not.. "

Picture
'Oru naal' is a commendable blend of love and emotion. Share something interesting about this project..
'Oru Naal' is quite close to my heart.. It blends in some of my real life too.. Neelima did her part perfectly with the character and am really happy for her winning the best actress award in a reality show.

Do you have a standard team for all your shorts or will you work alongside with different hands..
I am quite choosy with the people i work with.. As of now, i have my own team ..

What are the difficulties in short film making in your opinion
Casting and Location

To whom/what does the major credit of your sucess fall ..
My Friends , team and Destiny

" In future YES, but very soon.. NO.."
Picture
Short movie named "Kanda Naal Mudhalai" was my debut, 25 was my second movie.. Of course, I was anxious, at the same time happy when I really set foot with my debut short movie.. I kept it a secret while shooting my first short since people at my home were not that comfortable with me getting into movies initially.. Now they do support..

Picture
A snap from "25" (Deepan's short film)
How can a short film maker get permission to shoot in public ?
Its a tiresome process.. And that's one of the reasons, I restrict my movies to a single room..

What is the return out of your short film making..
I am not expecting any returns or trying for any returns as of now..

Picture
A short film by Deepan
What genre do you feel comfortable to work with ..

I am quite comfortable with thriller and drama.. Wish to experiment more with Romance as well ..

What are the essentials of a good short film ..

Base storyline and content makes the difference.. irrespective of the budget, cast and crew..

Picture
" When Director Bala sir commented on Aasai short film and wished to meet me.. That's a very big achievement to my carrear.. "

Whom do you consider as the best short film maker and why..

Manikandan(Director of Wind and Meendum Oru Punnagai), Balaji Mohan (Director of Meetai Veedu, Addi Tail) .. They play with human relationships and I admire their work.

Picture
" I love dogs.. Singer by profession, have sung for many short films.. Not a viscomate, Engineering graduate working for an  IT concern."

How do you rate your projects in a scale of ten..
7 in the line of amateur film makers

"Enrolling into film industry" .. should one wait for his day or it's on hands of luck..
Just wait for the day..

Picture
How would you describe yourself in short lines ..
Hmmm.. I believe my films describe me in detail. Then why try to do the same in short lines ?

What do you think as your negative points ..
Should I wash my dirty linen in public ?

Are you a bad tempered director .. :P
ha ha ha .. this made me laugh.. well I am not.. I think I have enough patience

What's your future plans .. can we expect for a feature film soon..
" In future YES, but very soon.. NO..
My last project was Aasai and I am planning to make a 30 mins short film and a musical album on Feb 2012 "

What's your suggestion to budding short film makers ..
According to me.. Any artistic creation reflects the actual personality of the creator .. Make movies with a passion for art – fame and money are but only by products.

Special mention -
I really appreciate works of CDTV on recognizing talents..

"I am a fan of actor Vijay, right from my childhood my dream is to direct a movie for him."

Jameer is a final year student of Viscom in 'The New College'. His hobbies are listening to music and hanging out with friends . His passion is film making. He has directed 4 short films and worked as a editor for more than 6 short films. He has interest in cinematography and does designing also. He is a "down to earth" guy with "a simple attitude" in life.

"I would thank my mom as she is the sole supporter for whatever in regards to film making"

Who was your inspiration to enroll in short film making?
There are two people who inspired me in life  ...one is actor Vijay and the other would be director Selvaragavan. I am a fan of actor Vijay, right from my childhood my dream is to direct a movie for him. And I admire director Selvaragavan for his movie making style and my inspiration to direct movies came from him. I would like to see myself as a good director in the future. I want to experiment in each and every movie and make sure every movie of mine is unique and different.

Do you slate any of your work as ‘amateur’?
Yes I would consider Bejjar movie as an amateur work as it was our first short film and the camera work was little amateur. But as Film Industry is all about learning. We make sure we improve ourselves in each and every movie we work on.

Your* film 'Bejjar' has won first prize in a contest, so what were the judges' remarks?
Judges tagged the movie as an entertainment one and they appreciated me for the fun factor and the comedy timing in the movie. They said it was a complete Entertainment Package.

"I’m learning each and every day and I know this industry is all about learning and implementing  things."

Picture
Does all the films under the banner 'Studio sang' being directed by you?
Only 3 films have been directed by me under the banner of Studio Sang and apart from that there are other movies those are under studio sang and they all were done for editing, title design and vfx works.

"Im gifted to have a mom like this."

In a scale of ten, how do you rate yourself and your works..
I would rate myself as 7 because I’m learning each and every day and I know this industry is all about learning and implementing  things. I feel I have lots to learn and prove in this industry everyday is a new day for me and it’s a new challenge for me as well.

Were your parents supportive for your involvement?
Yes I would thank my Mom as she is the sole supporter for whatever In regards to film making. She supports every move of me and encourages me in achievening this. I would like to thank her and feel I’m gifted to have a mom like this.

What do you attribute as achievement in your career ?
Being a Student I have directed 4 short films so far and have worked on 15 short films as a DOP, Associate .Director, Editor, Designer and Etc. Would love to establish myself as a director in the future.

Picture
During shooting of 'Dancing Neurons"
"Future plan would be to direct a feature film with Dhanush"

Is there anything special about 'Studio sang’?
Yes, Studio sang is a Firm that involves and does all kind of movie related work right from dubbing, editing, pre and post production. We have a unique team called “ Kisa Team” who are involved in Artists, Lighting, Assistant Directors, Cameraman, Lyric writers and etc. Studio Sang originated from Kisa Team.

Picture
What’s your future plan?
Future plan would be to direct a feature film with Dhanush and I’m working on the script. Down the line I would achieve this and that’s my Ultimatum.

" ..make the Indian cinema industry reach international standard "

What were the difficulties faced by you during short film making?
The biggest difficulty in short film making would be the cost part. As short films are always quoted with low budgets in a specified time frame. And the other challenge would be getting a heroine to act in short film for the minimum budget. A part from this I don’t feel anything as a challenge because if we have the right team to work with a short film, it can be completed easily.

What is your advice/suggestion to budding short film makers ?
My Suggestion would be to experiment in all movies you make and when it comes to movie making I feel that a director should have his own class and style and a director should touch all the genre right from comedy to tragic and from thriller to drama..I wish young film makers to keep trying different things in each and every movie and make the Indian cinema industry reach international standard.

CDTV is a very good platform for all budding film makers like me as we get good exposure through your media. Our talents are brought to limelight and this will boost us with more and more confidence. I feel CDTV is a boon to all film makers.

Aditya's 'Mokka padam' has catered likes and seem to turn viral among short film makers. Find his interest, his failures and more.. some are inspiring and some reflects the reality.. Aditya - a watch out for budding short film makers. Keep reading ..

"We need to face lots of troubles right from getting a girl to permission for shoot in some areas..."

So why do you pursue engineering rather than Viscom or other film courses ?
I'm just doing short films for the love & passion I have for it..I did not have serious ambition when I finished 12th...so I got into B.E as it has become like a rule for every young man out there...with the help of few friends we started making films... I have started atleast 5 films...never completed one...owing to many reasons of which I have shown some in my film itself...

Picture
What do you think to be the success of 'Mokka padam' ?
Again....the success of mokka padam was its quite similar to every budding film maker's life....we need to face lots of troubles right from getting a girl to permission for shoot in some areas...so everyone could relate to it...other people also enjoyed since the humour was not based on technical problems only, 'the external problems' we showcased.

Was the film 'mokka padam' being inspired from your own experiences..
Ofcourse ya...inspired by my own experiences...actually we ended up doing it only after we failed to start a film(planned for 5 months) owing to many reasons....

that film which we planned so hard....we could not even start shooting regarding many people backing out in the last minute...especially 2 girls..

"Above all...getting a GOOD LOOKING girl is difficult

Picture
In a scale of ten, how do you rate yourself and your films
I will rate just above 5...

What do you think as your negative points ..
I have many negatives...I'm not technically strong...I need more experience in direction...as of now...story, screenplay and dialogues are the only things I'm comfortable with...'direction' - I'm just an amatuer...now learning!!

What are the difficulties in short film making in your opinion ?
oh...there are many problems....too many infact...most important is man management...we can never expect our entire cast to be free on our day of shooting.suddenly one fellow will have commitments and your shoot is cancelled.. then money... permissions & stuffs...& above all...getting a GOOD LOOKING girl is difficult  and there are much more..we get used to it...

"If we keep on trying...we can make it...thats it!!!"

Do short films based on 'making short films' get liked at ease ?
yes...because people know these days many are making short films..and they see whats happening around them...the difficulties, fun and all the stuffs....so they can relate to it...hence they like instantly...

What do you think as achievements in your career ..
Completing a short film is itself an achievement for me....kidding...thats too big word for me...just the response for mokka padam has motivated me to do more good short films...which i'm trying to do.

"Plan the story according to your budget...thats very important!!!"

Picture
What's your future plans ?
future plans....hmmm... actually I wanna make some good films for my happiness....to satisfy my passion..no big plans as of now...I'm working in wipro now...future will take care for itself...meantime I will be doing many short films as much as I can!! because thats what I love to do....film making!!

What's your suggestion to budding short film makers ?
For other film makers...whatever the problems....difficulties we face....if we keep on trying...we can make it...thats it!!! plan the story according to your budget...thats very important!!!

Special mention -
I wanna thank my entire team for making this happen....especially my cameraman Ukesh kumar...who also edited the film...and all my friends who supported me during tough times...

CDTV is doing great work in reviewing many good short films and encouraging them...I'm soo happy that someone is coming forward in promoting and appreciating short film makers & their efforts....keep going...carry on the good work

yes

Is there anything special about 'Wow Dad studios' ?
yes..once we were a cricket team called "adengappa 11 peru"..than we started film making as a hobby which later turned into a passion...so we wanted to name our studio in a unique way...and so we literally translated "adengappa" as "wow-dad" studios...thus our studio was born..
